You may have been asking yourself – “Self, when am I going to see The Incredible Hulk in a movie again? Mark Ruffalo signed that big six-pic deal with Marvel last year, so it must be soon, right?” Well, not if Ruffalo’s Twitter has anything to say about it. Ruffalo, who played the big green angry dude in last year’s blockbuster “Avengers” movie has tweeted that the next time he plays the Hulk it will be in 2015 when the Avengers sequel is due to arrive in theaters. Although there had been rampant rumor-mongering about a possible “Planet Hulk” or “World War Hulk” movie concept, both Ruffalo and Avengers director Joss Whedon agreed that a film based entirely on the angry green alter-ego of normal everyday guy Bruce Banner would not likely work out for audiences as even fanboys would tire of 90 nonstop minutes of raging on-screen destruction without some down time at a spa.
“The Avengers 2” is currently scheduled for a May 1, 2015 release.
